SeoulTube 2011

Seoul Tube Yeouido 43
This is a meetup where people doing YouTube videos in Korea come together, but everybody’s welcome. There is a Facebook group where dates for the next SeoulTube are announced. We met at Yeouido Park and for me it was the first time. Fellow YouTuber Stephen told me that at the previous meetup, no one except him was filming. This time there were a lot of people filming.

I don’t think it’s weird that people who are into videos don’t bother doing one at SeoulTube: When filming people who are just chatting happily with each other, the result is almost certainly going to be a dull video. Local YouTube celebrities such as Michael Aronson and QiRanger (Steve Miller) also came to SeoulTube.

Some were doing interviews or a documentary, commenting both behind and in front of the camera. I was concentrating on the frisbee match, some kind of mass frisbee with two teams.
